A pair of black quotation marks on a white background.

I searched extensively for a water well company near Cottonwood or Flagstaff that could help diagnose why sometimes the water from my well ran a pinkish color due to red clay silt. This was particularly problematic since we rent out our home when we are not vacationing there, and the pinkish color running from the water caused alarm with some renters and negatively affected the renting of our otherwise beautiful home. The company that installed the well around one year before I purchased the property (Northern Arizona Pump) would not provide me with answers to my questions and would not even come out to look over the system they installed without charging me, or even providing me with an estimate for the cost they would charge, just to look over the system they installed! Curtis and Collingwood Pump were the exact opposite of Northern Arizona Pump. He listened carefully, sympathetically, and respectfully, to the water problems we were experiencing. He answered my questions on the phone both before and after his two inspections. He was able after two inspections to diagnose the causes for the red clay silt in our water and able to fix it! Chief among the reasons for the red clay silt in our water was that Northern Arizona Pump failed to connect the well to the very large storage tank they installed before the water entered the house! There was no dedicated pump for the water to get to the tank (the pump Northern Arizona installed was supposed to be dedicated for fire prevention) and no backwash filter installed. Curtis and Collingwood Pump performed the work on the well system that Northern Arizona should have done before we purchased the home. A few days before we closed on our purchase of our home, a person assisting us did a routine walk through of the home to check for  any observable problems and found red stains in the toilets and around the shower drains. When our broker contacted Northern Arizona Pump to find out what was the cause of these stains, the explanation they gave was that it was likely due to a “change in the filter” they had done recently. This “explanation” of the red clay silt by Northern Arizona Pump caused me around $3,000 in costs for completion of work that was not performed. It also led to loss of rents, loss of time trying to figure why this was happening, and much aggravation. If you are looking for an honest well contractor with great diagnostic abilities, loads of compassion, and able to get the job done well and at transparent prices, I enthusiastically recommend Curtis from Collingwood Pump and do NOT recommend you use Northern Arizona Pump.

Had a plumbing inspection done by another company and was told I had multiple valves leaking and had them give me a quote. It was a little high, and once again, my neighbor came through with a recommendation on who to call. Talked to Curtis and had him look at the valves and give me a quote. It was 1/3 of the cost of the other company. He promptly had the valves replaced. Added another contact on my phone. Thanks Curtis !!

Collingwood pump has been a savior for my wife and I. Curtis hands down does the best work out of anyone in the area and I would recommend him to anyone needing this type of work done. He has gone above and beyond countless times for us and we are eternally grateful for his amazing work ethic, timely service, and willingness to help out on short notice. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Once again, if you’re having issues with your well or pumps, don’t call anyone except Collingwood Pump. These guys are the best in the business.

Came to my home took care of the plumbing in my laundry room, and guest bathroom. Curt even came out on Sunday to connect my gas line so I could paint before moving the appliances back. Would definitely recommend Curt’s company.

We woke up to no water and called Collingwood pump. They were out the same morning and diagnosed the problem quickly...

The solution required their boom truck and they were back out and had the repair done by mid-day.

Very reasonably priced, extremely professional in manner, equipment and work quality.

These guys get an A+ from my perspective and I highly recommend them!

No-one likes to call for well service. It usually means you have no water and are going to pay for it, big time. But Collingwood Pumps at least makes the experience as best it can be-theyre professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and best of all, extremely prompt. They make it a priority to get to you as soon as possible and get your water back in service asap. We highly recommend them for all of your well service needs.

A pair of black quotation marks on a white background.

Had a major well failure this week. I contacted Collingwood Pump after checking local businesses. I reached the owner, Curtis, and after a quick description he asked if I needed it done today but I said it could wait until tomorrow. He said he'd call me in the morning. At 7:30 am, he called, got additional details from me and said he'd be on site by 8:30 am. He was on site at 8:15 am. He ran diagnostics and said the pressure tank definitely had issues. He replaced it, gave me a mini training on how to maintain it but the pressure wasn't what is expected. He ran a amperage test on the well pump and the pump was compromised. Which I expected because of a leak that ran ever so subtly for over 60 days! (Cost me $1,000 in electrical bills is how I sussed it out. Pulled the pump, installed a new one, and then pressure at the tank wasn't as expected. He guessed it was a cracked pipe and sure enough the schedule 80 pipe failed. He wanted to save my money and just replace the broken section, I told him I wanted schedule 120 throughout, I never want a well failure again in my lifetime. He went to the supplier, got the pipe, installed it at cost.

Now, my well is fresh and minty, fantastic pressure, and I'm a very satisfied customer.

Collingwood delivered, on time, as requested, patiently answered my questions, with excellent service at a lower price than estimated.

Thank you Collingwood Pump, LLC!
